Neurology and Neurosurgery

Urology

The Unit is staffed by physicians and surgeons specializing in urology.With support from the hospital's diagnostics and testing service and the other departments concerned, including medical imaging, nuclear medicine, laboratory, endoscopy, lithotripsy, medically assisted procreation, medical oncology and radiotherapy.

Faciomaxillary

The scope of this discipline includes treatment of diseases, injuries and defects in parts of the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws and face) region. This could involve treatment or surgery for micro vascular reconstruction

Pediatric Surgeries

Pediatric surgeons work in coordination with other specialties like pediatric nephrology, Pediatric oncology, pediatric gastroenterology and pediatric cardiology, providing care for all problems or conditions affecting the child and requiring surgical intervention.

Bariatric Surgeries

Bariatric surgery requires very close multi-disciplinary pre- and postoperative surveillance. In addition, great care must be taken to choose the most appropriate surgical technique, based on criteria such as the patient's BMI (Body Mass Index), eating habits, comorbidity, age, etc. When the appropriate technique is used, success rates of 70% to 80% after five years are generally achieved.
