Nephrology and Dialysis

Nephrology and Dialysis

The Nephrology and hemodialysis Unit provides diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases. It coordinates the activities of the Dialysis Center. Our clinical nephrology sector provides screening for kidney disease and consultations on an outpatient or inpatient basis (for hospitalized patients). It has access to all techniques used in the diagnosis of kidney disease, particularly renal biopsy, which can be performed on site. Patient care focuses on preventing kidney disease from worsening, and on informing and educating patients. When necessary, our on-site Dialysis Center, enables patients to receive dialysis treatment from the same medical team.
